This Privacy Policy applies to Volt Applications LLC ("Volt," "we," "us," or "our"), voltapplications.com, our client-facing and internal software tools, and services that connect to third-party platforms.
Information we handle
Depending on how you use Volt, we may process:
- Contact information you submit, such as your name, email address, company, phone number, and project details.
- Account information, including email address, sign-in credentials managed through our authentication providers, and access permissions.
- Content and files you or an authorized client upload to a Volt tool, such as project materials, media, messages, and workflow data.
- Technical information, including device, browser, IP address, log, and security information necessary to operate and protect our services.
- Information made available to us through an approved third-party connection, only to the extent authorized by you or the applicable account administrator.
How we use information
We use information to provide, secure, support, and improve our services; respond to requests; administer accounts and permissions; communicate about a project or service; comply with legal obligations; and prevent fraud, misuse, or security incidents.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer content to train public AI models without the customer's express permission.
Meta and social-platform data
When an authorized administrator connects a Facebook Page, Instagram professional account, LinkedIn Organization, or another supported social account to a Volt tool, we process the data needed to provide the requested workflow. This may include account identifiers, page or organization details, access permissions, post content, media, comments, engagement information, and connection status.
We use this information only to provide the connected service—for example, scheduling approved content, publishing on behalf of the connected organization, synchronizing comments, and showing reporting to authorized users. We do not use Meta Platform Data for unrelated advertising profiles or sell it to third parties.
Access tokens are kept server-side and encrypted. An authorized administrator can disconnect a social account at any time. For Meta-related data deletion, see our User Data Deletion Instructions.
Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legitimate business needs, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with law. When a deletion request is verified, we delete or de-identify applicable personal data within 30 days unless we need to retain limited information for security, legal, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
Your choices and data requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Account administrators may also update account details, revoke a connected platform's access, or ask us to remove an account and related data. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request.
To request deletion, follow the instructions on our User Data Deletion page. You may also manage Meta permissions through your Meta account settings.
Children's privacy
Volt services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date.
